The North Star Rails to Trails Path

The North Star Rails to Trail between Kimberley and Cranbrook is 25 kilometers long and is a section of the main line of the Trans Canada Trail.  It is a paved track, ideal for walking, biking or cross country skiing.  A wonderful feature is that it is only a 3% grade which follows the historic CPR rail line to Kimberley's Sullivan mine.

The trail runs adjacent to our Bed and Breakfast property.  We utilize the trail extensively and can provide any information required.  The trail offers spectacular views of the St Marys River, the Rocky Mountains, Hoodoos, and the famous Pine forests of the East Kootenays.
